ZeitThe aim of this workshop is to expand your repertoire in the slow foxtrot and to let you discover new kinds of movements that complement the typical basic figures of the dance. These are the kinds of figures that you can find in choreographies of advanced ballroom couples, but which also work well in advanced social dancing.
In particular, we will learn a figure combination that includes a bounced fallaway and an outside spin. This will give you an example of how to combine the long flowing movements that create the typical elegant look and feel of the slow foxtrot with strong rotary movements.
Prerequisite: you know basic steps of the slow foxtrot and you have approx 1.5 years of dancing experience, i.e., Ballroom 6 or some experience from Ballroom Trainings or equivalent. The figures will be challenging in terms of timing and will require a good frame and good balance.
