Beschreibung

Forró it's a couple dance from the North East of Brazil that emerged in the second half of the 1900s. This dance interprets a musical tradition and culture that merges elements of european ballroom dance with brazilian rhythms.

Forró it's inclusive, easy to learn and higly rewarding dance and we are really looking forward to meeting you!

About this course

This course it's open to all and we'll focus on laying the foundations of the dance. By the end of the first 6 classes you'll have developed a repertoire that will allow them to enjoy, interpret and dance freely at social events.

The class are designed to build skills gradually, therefore we recommend to keep a degree of consistency in the attendance.

The main language of class will be English.

Galatea is a great teacher. Could not have asked for a better introduction to Forró. The progression and content of the course was very well planned and explained. I love everything about this course.
