The 7th edition of Chalet Latino, an event cooperation of TQ (Zürich) and Cubaliente (Lausanne), is scheduled for the weekend of 1st - 3rd May 2026.

The event will take place in a chalet in the beautiful mountains of Fribourg (Jaunpass).

We are planning around 20 WORKSHOPS for Saturday and Sunday, with different salsa and bachata options as well as different classes to discover! There will be 2 PARTIES, a Jack & Jill (fun friendly competition), and many other activities.

You need to have at least an intermediate level in Cuban Salsa or Bachata to join, people who dance both will be prioritised. This way, we can ensure homogeneous groups in classes and competitions. Intermediate Level: Salsa 3 or Bachata 3 already completed.

We will also do our best to ensure the same number of leaders and followers. The price includes the workshops as well as the nights at the chalet and the food. Travel expenses are not included. We encourage carsharing and will provide you with information about reduced train tickets as soon as possible.

It is a community event, so as usual, all the participants have to sign up into teams and are required to help with housework and other duties (e.g., helping in the kitchen, washing the dishes, etc.).
