Description

In course level 3 we repeat the basic patterns and figures from previous courses and show you how to link them together. After this course, you will be able to dance a whole Salsa song through without boring yourself or your dancing partner (😉). 


In case you have not done Salsa 1&2 – to enter Salsa 3 you have to know:

Julia and Fabian are amazing and fun teachers. Their teaching style includes not only the theory of the figures but helpful tips and tricks for frame, open dancing, free style and musicality which is amazing. They manage to built up a super fun atmosphere, so one is looking forward to every weeks class.

Julia and Fabian created a fantastic atmosphere that made every class fun and engaging. They explained the figures in fun yet clear way and provided very concrete feedback along the way. I always left in a better mood than when I arrived because of the energy and enthusiasm they brought to the room. I can highly recommend them!

It's always fun to take courses with Reto and Lena, because they complement each other very well: one brings a lot of energy and new ideas, while the other keeps the explanations clear and practical. A big advantage this term was that the teachers often danced with participants when partner balance was uneven. That gave very direct feedback and helped understand much better how the figures should feel with an experienced partner. I also enjoyed that we regularly included rueda, which added variety and energy to the lessons. The group chat with videos was very practical as a reminder, and I actually used the videos later to recall figures during socials.

I love Reto's energy. Lena and Reto make the course feel really fun. I was at times a bit overwhelmed by all the setenta variations and especially by the naranja figure, but personalized feedback from the teachers helped. We did rueda almost every time, and I truly enjoyed it! Would recommend this course!

Leonor and Ilya teach an excellent course. The transition from Salsa 2 to Salsa 3 is certainly not an easy one and the learning curve can be steep at times. However, Leonor and Ilya make it a piece of cake. They are always happy and eager to check your style, explain steps, or give tips to improve your musicality. I can't wait for Salsa 4!

I think Tristan and Heidi are very good at teaching. I truly love the positive energy they create every time I go to dance, I am always excited to go to the salsa class ! They really are attentive to our needs, they smile a lot and teach very well, breaking down the movements so that we can learn efficiently. Other than that, I also believe that they are wonderful people with a kind soul, which makes the overall learning experience very pleasant. I hope that they teach salsa until level 6 ^^.

Salsa 4 adds to your repertoire a lot of cool and interesting figures, and the Ruedas start to get crazy (aka. fun!). The pace is fast, but the teachers are always available to help catch up or fix small mistakes. Kudos to Fabian and Julia for being fun and great teachers :)

Julia and Fabian were great instructors for Salsa 4! They brought a lovely atmosphere to the course, where people were able to have lots of fun, but also where people felt comfortable to ask questions. They both brought great instruction, and gave us lots of opportunity to try the steps on our own, giving us the space to bring many elements together and try our own combinations.

I rarely write reviews for anything, but I've been in Kai and Anaïse's class a couple times and they are both excellent teachers! They're very fun and knowledgeable, great dancers, know how to make class a good time with interesting figure combinations, and provide a lot of helpful feedback and clear instruction. Anaiise and Kai make one the most memorable classes I had in TQ, it's a lot of fun, great physical activity, figures I feel proud about doing, and want to use to show off. Some felt like rock'n'roll. They teach some very unique figures, and the ability to educate people so fast is impressive. I do highly recommend this class to everyone intersted in social dance as a life experience.

Anaïse and Kai did an amazing job leading the „Lifts and Dips“ training. Initially the figure seemed very advanced but they prepared us well and showed full confidence and expertise in how to do it safely and correctly. I felt fully supported and in good hands throughout the training.

I really like how Fabian and Julia teach their classes. They are so energetic! Rueda with them is a lot of fun and we always learn some new fun figures. I love that the teachers join the round both as leaders and followers to give specific feedback to everyone from their perspective. And I am really glad that they record videos of the new figures. This way I can learn them at home or try them out at open dancing. After the last class we even went to latin open dancing with the group. I would definitively recommend this course.

It was the perfect salsa course for beginners and I would definitely recommend it! The teachers were dedicated and introduced everything step by step. For example, we spent quite a lot of time in the beginning practicing to hear the music and find the beat, which I find extremely helpful as a leader. The recap videos of the figures and steps we learned were also very useful, for example to spot details I missed in class or forgot. We danced with many partners, including the teachers themselves, who gave helpful individual feedback from both the leader and follower perspective. Practicing figures in Rueda made it extra fun. A fantastic introduction to salsa!

Anaïse and Kai teach salsa in an amazing and engaging way. We were always guaranteed to learn sth and have a lot of fun.

Julia and Fabian are great teachers. Their classes are always fun and never boring. They don't shy away from dancing with their students and give feedback. At the end of each class we always did a Rueda and never managed to end on time cause everyone was too busy having fun dancing. We even went to Platzspitz together for a Salsa social after the final session :D

Fabian and Julia are amazing! They have the right balance between going fast and repeating previous figures. So you get to learn fast with enough chances of repeating previous steps. They don't shy away from dancing with their students which is amazing for beginners as dancing with someone experienced is an absolutely invaluable experience. You can tell they really enjoy teaching and they provide summary videos and music recommendations every week. We did a Rueda every class which would usually extend beyond the end of the class as everyone wanted to keep going. Genuinely the most fun I had during a dancing class. Can't believe it was their first time teaching a class. Definitely looking forward to Salsa 2 with them :D If there was only one Salsa class you could go to, this is the one to pick!

I loved this course!!! Fabian and Julia were the best. Lots of feedback while dancing with us, easy introductions to new figures, fun and silly ruedas. 10/10 environment, the class became the favorite part of my week.

Kai and Anaïse explained the material in a very engaging and fun way, while making sure the class had the time to focus on the fundamentals which were later on used to end in some wonderful Ruedas. Can only recommend!

I had so much fun with Lukas and Anais ! They were so chill and welcoming, and gave useful advice. Over the time of the course, a nice vibe was created between the course participants, and we learned so much in an entertaining way.
