Description

West Coast Swing is incredibly versatile, modern, and can be danced to almost any kind of music—whether it’s pop, R&B, blues, or acoustic versions. This trendy partner dance from California captivates with its flowing movements, the playful communication between lead and follow, and plenty of room for improvisation.

What You’ll Learn

In Level 1, you’ll be introduced to the basics, the rhythm, and the typical “stretch & compress” feel of West Coast Swing. Together, we’ll work on the basic 6-count and 8-count footwork, as well as the first essential figures, such as the Left Side Pass and the Sugar Push.

Great introductory course to West Coast Swing with two highly motivated and great teachers! We covered a lot of content in these two lessons and they definitely made me want to learn more!

Super, gibt kurzen aber wertvollen Einblick in West Coast Swing. Gut verständlich. Die Choreo in der 1. Lektion war richtig cool, weil sie so super zur Musik gepasst hat.

Lena and Robin are amazing teachers: competent, helpful and fun as well. Salsa 5 figures built upon moves from previous classes and are really enjoyable to dance once mastered. Can't wait for Salsa 6!

This was an amazing way to find ways to not only improvise but also feel more comfortable when improvising taught with lots of love to details by Robin. I would definitely sign up if you see her teaching the course!

Very useful if you want to learn more pasitos and choreo parts to implement into your dance. It was fun and insightful to also take some time to focus on isolations and details that do not get enough attention during the regular classes.

Robin and Lena are amazing! The energy and love they put into every single class had all of us laughing and having a great time. I learned way more than I thought I could and always left with a smile on my face!

Lena and Robin are fantastic teachers, they make dancing salsa fun! The ambience in the class was very relaxed while a lot of cool new figures were introduced and the progress was fairly fast paced. Bonus points for the personalized feedback and tips.

Lena and Robin were wonderful! Some of the best teachers I have had through tanzquotient. Super helpful and clear with explaining the moves, and also funny and made the course a joy.
